The Products I Love are Beachbody Products

Five years ago I couldn’t even tell you what a Beachbody Product was and now….my husband Greg and I LOVE them.  Here’s the story on how we discovered these amazing products.

I woke up one day at age 40 and realized I weighed as much as I did when I was 5 months pregnant with my first child. Sigh! I had found a diary where I kept track of my weight and how I was feeling throughout my pregnancy. I paused for a long time and then started re-checking the numbers; flipping back and forth between pages. Then it hit me like a brick. I need to lose weight! And this is what prompted us to start using beachbody products.

My husband Greg and I got started with Beachbody’s P90X program 5 years ago, which is one of the most popular Beachbody products out there. We followed the program faithfully, workouts and nutrition for 90 days, and got incredible results. Check out our P90X transformation photos (and Greg’s transformation video!) We have so many customers and coaches who have achieved great results too and are now in the best health of their lives.

As time went on, we started to try some of the other Beachbody products and fell in love with them. There are so many different workout programs and weight loss products on the market. But beachbody produces some of the most amazing products and there’s truly something for everyone.

Sometime people don’t realize these are ALL Beachbody products! And there’s so many more. 21 Day Fix and T25 have been the #1 Infomercial for the entire 2015 calendar year.

After we completed P90X we became Team Beachbody Coaches so we could pay it forward and help others discover these incredible Beachbody products. Since becoming coaches, we’ve 14 completed: P90X, P90X2, P90X3, 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, T25, PiYo, Combat, Body Beast, Insanity, Asylum, Insanity Max 30, Cize, Hammer and Chisel and 22 Minute Hard Corp. I’m out of breath lol. We’ve even tried many other programs, such as Turbo Fire, Brazil Butt Lift, Chalene Extreme, P90, Les Mills Pump. All of the Beachbody Products are truly fun with incredible trainers to keep you motivated as you go through the programs.

If you do a Beachbody program and do it right it will change your life!

For the majority of us, there are intermediate and beginner programs. Athletes and more athletic people will love the more advanced programs. And even if you think you can’t do P90X or T25, you’d be surprised. When we first did P90X we couldn’t do all the moves, but by the end of the 90 days we could! And there are always modifiers to follow, until you get stronger. We are all more capable than we think!

All Beachbody programs come with full schedules and calendars so you know exactly what workout to do each day. If you miss a day, you pick up where you left off.

To achieve the best results, we recommend ordering a Challenge Pack, which is a workout program and Shakeology, a daily of dose of dense superfood nutrition protein shake. Shakeolgy takes care of your insides the same way the workouts take care of your outsides. Challenge packs also give you a significant savings.

We’ve documented our experience with each program below. Our personal favorite Beachbody Products are P90X, T25, 21 Day Fix Extreme, PiYo and Cize.


21 Day Fix


The 21 Day Fix workout program is one of the most popular beachbody products and was created by celebrity trainer, Autumn Calabrese. It’s only 21 Days and everyone can commit to that, right? Sometimes the 60 or 90 day programs scare us. Committing to 21 days and succeeding makes us feel great and we want to continue.

The best part about this program is that when we do something for 21 days, we’ve developed a habit. And with the 21 Day Fix we develop the daily discipline of working out for 30 minutes and eating a balanced diet to achieve our personal goals.

The 21 Day Fix program includes a nutrition guide, 6 containers to measure out your food and 30 minute workouts to complete each day of the week. The workouts include cardio, strength training, stretching and more. There’s even a modifier right up front to watch when you need it. And there are days that even after 4 years of working out, I need to modify a move or two.

Remember, you can do this program over and over to make it into a 60 or 80 day program!

Greg and I tried this program and it’s truly a program for everyone, regardless of your age. Whether you’ve been away from working out for a long time, just getting started with a workout program for the first time or want to keep your workouts to low impact, then you’ll love this program.

The workouts include cardio, strength training and yoga with basic moves that are simple and easy to follow. Modifications are shown and explained so you’ll definitely find a way to do each move that comfortable for you.

Focus T25

44b31c_4cdf2efad1a048f5b9ce5575fab7fe9fFocus T25 is a great cardio workout program. It’s actually one of our favorites. The workouts are only 25 minutes! But don’t think that just because it’s short that you won’t sweat.

During the majority of the workout you’re standing. Greg and I are both very strong and lean, especially in our core, because of the moves that you do during the workouts “ Heisman”, low kicks, jumping jacks, squats, lunges and more. A lot of runners tell us that they love and it improves their time when they get out and run.

T25 has a modifier right up front on the right side of the screen. When you need to take it down a notch, she has you covered.

44b31c_4f9d329bd7264d71869c0016fe7be101P90X3 came out 10 years after P90X was released. You get the same great results as P90X but the workouts have been reduced to only 30 minutes. Beachbody is always doing research and studies have shown that the most dramatic body transformations happen in the first 30 minutes of exercise.

P90X3 combined many of the P90X and P90X2 moves to give us a total body workout with a focus on our core and balance. You get strength training, cardio, agility and flexibility. Truly fun workouts and includes moves we had never done before.

CVX  cardio with weights is an awesome workout.

PiYo came out in 2014 and we were so excited to be chosen to participate in the PiYo Test Group that year! Yup, both of us were chosen. We did the program for the entire 60 days and were absolutely amazed at the results. Our abs were really defined and our flexibility was incredible. We felt amazing!

PiYo is a cross between Pilates and Yoga but moves faster and has great music. Not a lot of Oms In fact, we don’t recall any. It’s a low impact programno jumping or long intense poses. You don’t use weights or bands, just the resistance of your own body.

This is a program that everyone should do at some point. Especially Moms out there who have had kids. You can really lose that tummy as you can’t do any of the moves without having your core tight 😉

Body Beast

Body Beast is a program to build lean muscle or bulk up. Men and women can both do this program. The workouts are anywhere from 10-50 minutes and are focused primary on weight lifting.

There are specific Body Beast Supplements that can be used with the program for anyone who really wants to put on mass. Greg put on 10 pounds of muscle mass and I loved how curvy and sexy my arms were getting. Nobody wants flabby arms, right ladies?

The Cize workout is one of my favorite Beachbody products. Greg and I had so much fun with this program laughing and dancing together and getting our workout done. You truly don’t realize how much you are sweating because you’re so focused on learning the dance.

The moves are broken down into basic forms and steps and then put together. It includes moves you do every day with your body (put your socks on), just put into an order and to a rhythm.

It’s not about doing push ups or jumps. It’s about moving to the beat! So if you love to dance, you have to try this program.

We completed Insanity in 2012. This program is one of the hardest workouts ever put on DVD. Talk about sweat! Even your hands will sweat LOL.

We teach class locally. Greg leads the class as he’s an Insanity Certified Instructor and I’m happy to modify the moves for anyone that needs it’s including myself People don’t realize that you can modify this entire workout and still get a great workout. Here’s a picture of me sharing with the create, ShaunT, how we teach the class. He loved how we show people how to modify the entire program and still get a great workout.

The workouts are anywhere from 30-60 minutes and they use what’s called MAX Interval Training which means you perform long bursts of intensity exercise then recover with a short period of rest. Believe us you’ll want those rest periods 😉

Insanity Max30

We loved the original Insanity program, but Max 30 brings it to a whole different level in half the time. The biggest difference between Insanity and Insanity Max 30 is that you are MAXING OUT, which means you go as hard as you can for as long as you can and use that as a way to gauge your progress with the program. Once you max out, you write down your time and try to beat it each time you do that workout (but you keep going afterward to finish the workout of course 😉 . Its a great motivator and we love that there is now a MODIFIER that does low impact versions of each exercise so that anyone can do this program!

21 Day Fix Extreme

The 21 Day Fix Extreme workout program is Autumn Calabrese’s program that takes the original 21 Day Fix to the next level. The 21 Day Fix Extreme program also includes a nutrition guide, 7 containers to measure out your food and 30 minute workouts to complete each day of the week.

With this program you’ll use heavy weights to get you ABSOLUTELY shredded. This is exactly what Autumn does to prepare for her bikini competitions.

Note: There’s no wine or chocolate allowed in this program 😉

P90X is our Go To program. This is the program that started our Beachbody journey 4 years ago. We followed this program faithfully and got incredible results. Follow this link to learn more about us and our P90X journey.

This is a total body conditioning program which includes 12 routines with strength training, cardio, agility and flexibility. The workouts are 45-60 minutes long. You’ll do moves you’ve never done before which will challenge all of your muscles.
